Summermusik

Summermusik is an independent ensemble of 32 professional musicians. Is is widely recognized as one of the leading performing arts organizations in the Greater Cincinnati region.
Summermusik provides a vibrant musical experience in an intimate and informal setting, for both the seasoned and novice concert patron. Its size allows for flexibility and creativity in programming, the ideal ensemble for presenting orchestral works from the Baroque and Classical eras, as well as commissioned works by contemporary composers.
Stage Plots
The following are examples of stage plots that were created in the festival's prep phase. The goal of their creation was for every detail to be planned before we loaded into the space. It also allowed us to send these plots to the music director and for him to ask for edits so that the look could be finalized in advance.

I have included only three of the multitude of plots we designed, one for each type of performance the festival offers. The first is from a Main-Stage performance, which is the most traditional chamber orchestra performance. The second is from what are called ALAMs, or A Little Afternoon Music. These events take place in various Cincinnati churches, and feature a smaller group of musicians. The final plot is from one of our Chamber Crawls, which are more casual events that take place in non-traditional venues such as breweries or comedy clubs.
Main-stage: Americana

ALAM: Sound of Silence

Chamber Crawl: Howlin' Winds
